Mallory Shotwell is an interdisciplinary artist, curator, and educator based in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Community, connection, and care is the root of every practice. Art is the catalyst for connection.
Her social engagement art practice is informed by years as a Montessori teacher, where she honed skills of observation, curating an environment to support multiple intelligences and learning needs, and honoring every individual.
Now, she incorporates these learning styles into her curatorial and studio practices.
